(Debbie)  Karis had her repeat CT today but when the docs made rounds they still didn’t know the results.  They said Karis will probably come home Monday.  She, of course, is still hoping for tomorrow!

Monday, Dec. 6, 2010

(Debbie)  Karis slept most of the day yesterday.  She had to increase the amount of oxygen through the course of the day.  Today she’s more awake but she’s coughing up blood.  Dr. Costa says that’s typical of fungal infections.

(Debbie)  Karis ALMOST made it to three weeks out of the hospital!  She was admitted in the wee hours this morning with coughing, bad headache and fever–suspect a sinus infection.
