Good news–Dr. Costa just came by to say Karis can go home and continue antibiotic treatment there (12 more days)!  Hurrah!

Karis is being hospitalized (on 12 N) due to positive blood cultures.  Dr. Costa reversed his earlier decision to treat her at home.  Yes, we are bummed.
